Dual-Robot Tray Placing And Depanning

This dual-robot depanning and Tray placing system is another recent favorite of ours. The project conception, design, and production came together quickly and efficiently.

The depanning robot is designed to depan 20 pans per minute conveying from an Autobake Oven, and can run at reduced speeds if needed. Each of the pans holds 72 cupcakes. The Fanuc R-2000 is setup to depan two pans at a time. The adjacent Fanuc M-710 robot picks and places trays on a vacuum conveyor to whichever pace the depanning robot is set.

You’ll also notice at the end of the video the quick tool-change capability of this system. New End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT) is quickly swapped out, without the use of additional tools.
